Philip Hamilton was one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. He was an American lawyer and politician who was killed in a duel by Aaron Burr. Philip was the son of Alexander Hamilton, a Founding Father and the first U.S. Secretary of the Treasury. Philip Hamilton was born in New York City on January 22, 1782. He was the second son of Alexander Hamilton and Elizabeth Schuyler Hamilton. His father was a leading figure in the American Revolution and the first U.S. Secretary of the Treasury. His mother was the daughter of a wealthy New York landowner. Philip was educated at home by tutors and at private schools in New York City. He then attended Kings College (now Columbia University). He left college in 1799 to study law with his father. In 1801, Philip was admitted to the bar and began practicing law with his father. The following year, he married Elizabeth Schuyler, his first cousin. They had eight children together. In 1804, Philip and his father were involved in a famous duel with Aaron Burr, the Vice President of the United States. Burr was upset with Alexander Hamilton over some negative comments he had made about him. The duel took place in Weehawken, New Jersey, and Burr shot and killed Hamilton. Philip was not present at the duel, but he was devastated by his father’s death. After his father’s death, Philip continued to practice law and became active in New York politics. He was elected to the New York State Assembly in 1808. He served in the Assembly until 1811, when he resigned to become the New York City Recorder. He held this position until 1814, when he resigned to become a judge on the New York Court of Appeals. He served on the Court of Appeals until 1823, when he retired from public life. Philip Hamilton died in New York City on July 23, 1801, at the age of 19. He was survived by his wife, Elizabeth, and their eight children.
The story of Alexander Hamilton, the $10 Founding Father of the United States, is told in the musical Hamilton. In Act I, Daveed Diggs portrays Marquis de Lafayette, before moving on to Thomas Jefferson in Act II. Okieriete Onaodowan plays Hercules Mulligan/James Maddison in this musical, while Jasmine Cephas Jones plays Peggy Schuyler. Ramos’ performances as both roles make it easier for the audience to grasp the parallels between the two characters and gain a better understanding of their journeys and deaths.
Why Did The Same Actor Play Laurens And Philip?
There are a few reasons why the same actor played both Laurens and Philip. First, the actor, Joshua Jackson, is a very talented actor who is able to play a wide range of characters. Second, the two characters are very similar in terms of their personality and their relationship to the other characters in the play. Finally, the playwright, Lin-Manuel Miranda, is a close friend of Jackson’s and he felt that Jackson was the perfect actor for the role.

Daveed Diggs plays Thomas Jefferson in Act I and Anthony Ramos plays Marquis de Lafayette in Act II, both of which were directed by Lin-Manuel Miranda. Instead of casting actors from Act I, he wanted the audience to be invested in Jefferson right away. The cast of Hamilton’s opening number provides continuous representation from beginning to end.
